I was naked!

I often see things from an angle that seems to be missed by others. For example I get many friends because of my passion for the word of God who often ask of me concerning prophecy. I do have some thoughts on the last days and prophetic writings, however I am more focused on the Love of God in us than any other element. I see the relationship with Him to be the ultimate part of my experience at this time and tend to speak more on the relationship we should desire to have with the Father His Son and the Holy Spirit. Curiosity drives me to wonder what tomorrow may hold but I am grounded in knowing better who holds tomorrow. Knowing that whatever He has in my tomorrow is also under his love for me, Causes me to rest from worry about tomorrow. Jesus told us Matthew 6:34 (New International Version) 34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. So I look at Prophecy more with a what does this offer me now attitude. Lets look at a scene in the bible where the disciples were asking about the end and what Jesus told them.
Mathew 24:4-8
4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Here He is telling them it will get bad but don't worry this must occur, This is not the end and then He describes a time that seems we are experiencing more than any other generation. With the wars the rumor of potential wars, Famines pestilences and even the natural disasters at such magnitude in our time. It seems before we get through a thing another comes on the scene. Daily we get new reports of all these things and we know this is not the end. That means there is more for us to do yet.

Look in Mathew 25:31-46 Where he describes judgment.
The Sheep and the Goats
31"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. 32All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. 34"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.' 37"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' 40"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.' 41"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.' 44"They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?' 45"He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.' 46"Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."
He tells us we saw him in need some of us responded to the need while others didn't. IN essence He is saying here I was in need of love and you didn't love me. I know He could have kept going on and describing the many forms needs can take. Down to even simple ones we often overlook like you saw I needed grace and you gave me none. In need of prayer yet you kept silent. In need of a word of encouragement and you spoke not to me. Or even simpler needs like I was a single mom and I needed a babysitter yet you turned me away. I was walking to work and you drove by. Again the essence here is you saw I needed love and you closed your heart to me.

I used to read the word and think when did we see the three things He described and though maybe there would be those who are exceptions and never did see these things. But in light of what He has revealed to me concerning that it was a need to love someone we could see. I realized we all have been there. If that is not enough look at the time and the events going on. Wars create needs both at home and abroad moms at home while husband is in the service. Children waiting for a dad to return Men coming home broken emotionally some mentally. Disease crippling homes moms that can't cook due to illness's Children who need someone to sit with them while mom or dad get some rest.. Disasters that wipe out thousands in a moment. Who's going to rebuild the homes or help them till they get back to work again? I could type more than most of us are willing to read. This is not a beg to get a response this is real. Either you see the needs and are doing as love leads you or your not.
I pray your eyes be opened to see him naked, Hungry and in need of companionship. And that your heart full of His love responds with the answer for that need! May God bless you with His Presence and may you increase in the midst of pressure for His glory!
